ACHIEVEMENTS

Various relief activities have been successfully conducted up to 15. 08.2010 in 33, 464 villages of 27 districts during scarcity Samvat 2066 and Rs. 1639.48 crores were allotted for relief activities
Rs. 75.55 crores are made available under CRF budget limit to Medical, Medical Education, LSG, Police Department etc. for Capacity Building in the field of Disaster Management.
For strengthening of State and 33 District Emergency Operation Centres, Rs. 3.72 crores are made available and equipments for disaster management also provided to Jodhpur Rural Police.
A web-portal, http://www.dmrd.rajasthan.gov.in for online budget allotment and monitoring of progress of relief activities has been launched and working effectively.
The State has been included under Disaster Risk Reduction Programme of NDMA and UNDP joint collaboration. The execution of the project has been started.
